Wladimir Ugarte Visual Artist, with studies in architecture, where he
begins to develop his taste for painting and engraving, approaching in
the School of Art of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile to the
master Eduardo Vilches (National Prize of Plastic Arts in Chile, 2019)
who was his outstanding student.
His daily and methodical work from experimentation with the technique
of watercolor to current media, such as digital painting, gave him a
solid support to develop and implement various searches in acrylic
painting on canvas, where he delivers gestures to the viewer
that wander from his imaginary, provoking sensations and images in
each of his paintings of various formats, where the interaction of colors
is fundamental and infinite, where pleasure and happiness are always
present when contemplating his works.
His artistic work has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and is
present in private collections, both in Chile and abroad.
